![]() ![]() Personally, I care more for those elements, so that's probably why I like the third most. Although from your post, it looks like maybe we're watch the films for slightly different reasons- you seem to focus mainly on highlighting the humour, which could well explain why the third is your least favourite, given that it focuses much more on a larger-scale plot and its undertones. The final scene is an obvious favourite, as in the incinerator scene. Not that I'm saying that's a bad thing, but I think a lot of the reason I favour the third one so much is that it has a lot of aspects that were basically put in there for the people who were kids back then the first movie came out- namely the concepts of growing up and moving on. The first one is definitely the most 'childish', in that, whilst they're all 'kids' films, the first is definitely the one with the least grown-up elements in it. I don't know, I personally think they get better with each film. Is there anyone out there who agrees with me on any of this? "he is my favorite so this was important to me"īut I just like the first 2 better, Every single joke in the first 2 i thought was brilliant and not forced at all. Woody was Portrayed beautifully, and in full character. Lastly, once again, I did like the movie and i felt like it was a great close to the movies. I mean, thats not the cleverest thing they could of thought of, but i feel its still better than what they did. ![]() I personally think it would of been funnier if after the trucker made the remark about lotso smelling like strawberries they show a shot of him replacing their air freshener with lostso. I just didnt think this was that funny, like i dont see the humor behind it. ![]() Just for kicks, here is an example of a part i felt the first 2 would of done better.Īt the end when the trucker puts lotso on the front of his truck. I actually felt like he kinda deserved a happy ending. I also kinda felt like lotso was almost TOO similar to the prospector. In the middle of the film there is a section where there is only like 1 joke in a half an hour. I also felt that there should of been a bit more humor in the film in general, there just wasnt that many jokes compared to the first joke. Not really, I mean its still decently funny, but i just feel like something else could of gone in its place. When they are walking with lotso, and mr potato head trips, and lotso says "puddle" and mr potato head falls to pieces, Is this really that clever? This isnt a big deal, because it was still funny. I feel they just were not clever enough to think of anything better at times. This doesnt bother me TOO MUCH, as this is funny.īut the thing that does bother me, is that it is very easy to make a funny joke out of this. I also feel like they over used mr potato head as a joke, It just seemed like any time they could make a joke about potato head losing his limbs or falling apart they would. I felt they were over used, and plugged in at points where they couldnt find anything else funny to do, and they were were plopped into these parts in an unnecessary fasion many times. ![]() Okay the thing that really bothered me about toy story 3 was Ken and Barbie, they just didnt appeal to me as characters, they were moderately funny but every time they were on screen they also kind of annoyed me.
